The conflict between India and Nepal can now increase further. Nepal had released a new map by adding it to its country, claiming the Indian territory Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura in Uttarakhand. Now it has been introduced in the Parliament to get constitutional recognition. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs had raised a strong objection to this.
Today, this bill was introduced in the Nepali Parliament by the Law Minister Tumbahamphe. After releasing the map of Nepal, the Foreign Ministry of India had asked Nepal to respect Indian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Nepal Congress is supporting the Constitution amendment to update the map. To include the disputed areas of Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani in their maps, Prime Minister KP Oli had said that we will not leave even an inch of land. This news already live on aajtak.in
